As a former high school ESL teacher who served in a D grade school with minority populations, teaching English to students who had recently immigrated from Haiti and Latin America to live in Central Florida, I can truly say I understand some of the battles you are struggling with in your area.
As a world traveler I also have an understanding of the cross-cultural barriers immigrants are having with law enforcement and the local community at large. Having extensively studied and written a book about Confict Resolution, I can grasp the underlying deep seated interpersonal conflicts giving birth to bitterness and personal disregard of others that precedes criminal acts.
Most importantly however I know how to connect with and communicate to foreign ethnicities and those who feel institutionally the system has discriminated against and forgotten them entirely. As a child my mother was a drug addict and an alcoholic, who predeceased my maternal grandparents who raised me. My mom was usually in one of four places: a prison, drug rehab, mental ward, or bar getting drunk.
That being said I have had to overcome much adversity in my own life, which is why I wrote a book titled “Overcoming Adversity – Fortitude & Focus For Dream Fulfillment“.
As a life coach and minister, I am familiar with performing successful interventions and facilitating lasting transformation in people of all ages and their families.
As a boy, I so hated my stepmother (who abused me) I contemplated suicide at the age of 12. Ironically, my younger (half-brother) later battled breaking free from the bottle and substance abuse into adulthood.
Thus I am personally and experientially acquainted with grief and know how to transcend and rise above it to experience dream fulfillment. My book “Breakthrough For a Broken Heart” empowers people to overcome their disappointments, process their emotional pain, and blossom into their dreams.
My experience working in prisons and correctional facilities as a minister has also given me an insightful perspective on how to win and turn criminals hearts.
