Were it not for African Americans who fought the injustices in the United States to give birth to the civil rights, human rights and freedom as we know it would not exist here nor abroad in many parts of the world.
Keep the faith and diligently inform black Americans of their great heritage, lest they backslide in heart and lose their inheritance. The world has need of black leaders lest we forget how to feel and heal the homeland.
In my 2007 book United States of Arrogance I predicted a black man would lead from the White House. I’m glad it is so. Yet we still have a long way to go!
Dr. King saw the promised land, now we must journey to get there! Onward my friends. Let us march hand in hand and live like a King!
