Cultural Sensitivity Training for Teachers and Professionals

Warm greetings from an NYU grad who earned a Masters degree in Global Affairs and worked at ground zero at the World Trade Center in New York City the week of 9/11.  I have created some excellent Cultural Sensitivity Training Online Lessons for your Administrators, Educators, Professionals and Community Leaders.

As someone who has traveled to 90 nations and lived overseas extensively (Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America), I am uniquely qualified, cross-culturally gifted and experientially prepared to provide exceptional cultural sensitivity training for teachers and professionals. Moreover, I have lived in Brooklyn and Queens County within New York City, the latter the most ethnically diverse county in the United States.

I am a licensed educator in Florida and California (ESL, English and Social Sciences) and UCLA certified University and Career Counselor able to serve your students whenever you need an online teacher or career and university counselor. 
As far as my world travels, I’ve been to places the media demonizes (like Cuba and Venezuela) and had a great time connecting with people. These experiences increased my awareness, compassion and emotional intelligence when dealing with students, co-workers and professionals in the marketplace to more easily connect with people relationally and collaborate harmoniously to achieve more cooperatively while working with people joyfully.

Because conversations around hard histories can be challenging, educators need to know how to approach the subject in considerate, developmentally appropriate ways to avoid inflicting trauma on students.

Best practices around identity development, instructional pedagogy, and curriculum are needed to support educators in teaching hard histories in their classes. This cultural sensitivity training for educators will make academic leaders more emotionally intelligent in the classroom and aware of the feelings of diverse students, while empowering teachers to tell stories of resistance, resilience and instill hope in young people to change our present world for the better.
