As someone who cared for my maternal grandparents in their old age prior to their being promoted, I’d be delighted to speak for senior programs and organizations across the country and world.
My grandfather a retired Lt. Colonel from the U.S. Army worked as a volunteer for decades for his church. I therefore can empathize with the desire to empower the many wonderful elderly volunteers who serve our communities and nation.
I have experience working with the elderly in a nursing home within Hampshire, England where I worked the night shift and put those within assisted living to bed and got them cleaned up and fed before they began the next day in the morning.
Since I was raised by my grandparents (who fulfilled the role of parents in the absence of my mother who died when she was hit by a drunk driver), I have a special compassion and deep respect for the elderly.
