Others who enter hell continually descend into a “bottomless pit” (Revelation 9:1-11; 11:7; 17:8; 20:1-3) among which is found raging infernos and other elements to torment those who dwell there.Jesus said of hell that the fire there will never be quenched (Mark 9:43) and it is so grievous, Christ recommended cutting off any part of your body offending and causing you to sin, rather than end up in hell for sinning against God. Jesus also mentioned worms in hell never die, but instead live to feed on the humans who end up there (Mark 9:42-48).
